# Use Acquestor in Claude

Not yet tested with Acquestor in this host. These steps follow the host's own documentation as of 2026-10-06.

Add Acquestor to Claude on the web, desktop or mobile as a custom connector. Claude connects to Acquestor from Anthropic's servers, so the same connector works on every device you use Claude on.

You need an Acquestor account (the beta is invite-only) and a Claude plan that allows custom connectors. Anthropic's help center says custom connectors are on every plan, with one on the Free plan.

## Pro and Max

1. In Claude, open **Customize → Connectors**, then **+ Add → Add custom connector**.
2. Name it `Acquestor` and enter the URL `https://mcp.acquestor.com/mcp`.
3. Leave sign-in on Claude's default, its published identity, and click **Add**.
4. Click **Connect**, then sign in to Acquestor with the email your invitation went to.

## Team and Enterprise

An organization Owner adds the connector once:

1. **Organization settings → Connectors → Add → Custom → Web**.
2. Name `Acquestor`, URL `https://mcp.acquestor.com/mcp`, sign-in on Claude's default.

Each member then opens **Customize → Connectors**, finds `Acquestor` and clicks **Connect**.

## Try it

Ask Claude:

- What price can an SBA buyer finance for a business with $400K of SDE?
- Which lenders made SBA acquisition loans to HVAC businesses in Texas?
- Stress-test a $1.2M deal with $350K of SDE and 10% down.

Claude shows each tool call. Results keep their source lines; ask Claude to show them if it summarises.

## Working on a deal

Claude sees none of your deals until you grant one. On acquestor.com, open the deal, turn on outside AI access and pick Claude. Inquiries Claude drafts for you wait until you confirm them on acquestor.com.

## Prompts

Acquestor's three prompts (`evaluate_listing`, `check_sba_financing`, `prepare_to_sell`) appear where Claude lists connector prompts.

## If it doesn't connect

- **Sign-in refused:** the beta is invite-only. Use the email your invitation went to.
- **No tools listed:** disconnect and connect again from **Customize → Connectors**.
- Sign-in settings can't be edited after you add the connector. Remove it and add it again.
